Privacy Policy

Fuel STK ("the App", "we", "us") helps you track macros, plan meals, and manage a food pantry.
This policy explains what data the App collects, why, and how you can control it. The App provides
general nutrition information for planning purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical
or dietary advice.
Information we collect
When you create an account and use the App, we collect:
- Account information — your email address, and display name if you set one (via Apple, Google, or email sign-in).
- Health and fitness information — age, sex, weight, height, activity level, goals, calculated macro targets, body-weight history, and the food/meal data you log or plan (this is sensitive data and we treat it accordingly).
- Pantry and meal-plan data — foods you add to your pantry, generated and saved meal plans, favorite meals, and your meal schedule.
- Usage data — basic records needed to operate the app, such as how many AI-generated meal plans you've requested (used to enforce free-tier limits).
How we use your information
- To calculate your macro targets and generate meal plans that fit your pantry and goals.
- To let you track food intake, weight, and progress over time.
- To power the optional AI meal-plan feature, which uses Anthropic's Claude API (see below).
- To operate, secure, and improve the App.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health or fitness data for advertising.
Third parties we share data with
We use a small number of service providers to operate the App. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase — our database and authentication provider. Your account and app data are stored on Supabase's infrastructure.
- Apple (Sign in with Apple) and Google (Google Sign-In) — if you choose to sign in with one of these, they provide us your email address (and, depending on your choice, your name) to create and authenticate your account. We don't receive your password or any other data from these providers.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — when you request an AI-generated meal plan, relevant pantry and macro-target data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate the suggestion. This only happens when you use that specific feature.
- USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts — public nutrition databases we query when you search for foods. These lookups are for food data only and do not include your personal information.
Data retention and deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from
Account → Delete account in the App. This immediately and permanently removes your
profile, pantry, meal plans, food log, weight history, and favorites from our database, and removes your
sign-in credentials. This action cannot be undone.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Our database uses row-level security so that app data is scoped to the
account that owns it.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can
view and edit most of your data directly in the App, and delete all of it via the in-app account deletion
described above.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
